Experience

Software Engineer and Product Management Intern @ Launchcode

I developed the frontend and backend of web and mobile applications for clients, using React, Unity, Ruby on Rails, and Node.js. I also built an algorithm that automates progress on software projects in real-time for clients to view. Additionally, as a full stack developer, I utilized TypeScript and Node.js to program an unused Raspberry pi "wall" to display updated reminders in Launchcode's headquarter office.
Recognized as a Top 10 High School Student in Calgary's tech community (2023) for my efforts at Launchcode!

Research Intern @ University of Calgary Human-Computer Interactions Lab

I had the opportunity to collaborate with insightful computer science professors and university students as the only high school researcher in the lab. Over the span of 3 years, I worked on several research projects that bring innovation and efficiency to disciplines such as AR/VR, haptics, and robotics. Projects include: 3D pantograph for virtual reality haptics (primary), mid-air haptic feedback using robot actuation, and swarm robots.
Won Top 30 Under 30 in Alberta (2023) for my contributions to innovation in HCI!

Programmer @ FIRST Robotics Competition Team & FIRST Tech Challenge Team

I use Java to program robots for autonomous and teleoperated periods, streamlining their movements and paths to achieve the most points during competitions. I also design electrical components for the robot's mechanical subsystems.
In 2024, my FTC team won the Winning Alliance Award and the Think Award at the Southern Alberta Qualifiers. In 2023, my FRC team achieved a top 5 ranking at the Canadian Pacific Regional competition!

Founder & President @ STEMatic Leaders

I founded STEMatic Leaders, a non-profit to provide quality STEM education in underserved communities; impacted 200+ students worldwide. I host conferences, hackathons, and competitions on a global scale and collaborate with other companies for partnerships/sponsorships.
Previous events include STEMATIC Hacks (a worldwide hackathon focusing on the theme sustainability), an engineering olympiad, a data analysis competition, a university admissions webinar, and more.
